Nuns and a Purple House - Princess Five in NY

Hey Friends this week was WILD!

• on Tuesday we went and helped some retired Nuns make some self care things to send to other countries, they were so sweet and kept thanking us for our service.

•one day this week we had to take our car to the dealership to get it checked and the man that was helping us asked is why God didn't warn Adam and Eve about Satan. While we waited for an hour the best answer we could come up with was for him to read 2 Nephi 2. So we wrote our testimonies on a 3×5 and gave him a copy hopefully he finds answers to his questions.

•on Saturday we went and gave food to the homeless. But we got roped into singing a bunch of songs we didn't know while being accompanied by a euphonium, to the homeless people. It was one of those moments when you wish you could just run away, but we got a good laugh from it after.

•while we are driving we often smile and wave at people stopped next to us at red lights. This week we stopped this man who was incredibly kind, his name was Limo and he told us we had beautiful smiles, and told us that life looks better through a smile. He even took our card even though he is very strong in another faith.

• We had our returning member Sarin come to church this week, she moved here from another country and lost touch with the church, but we are so excited to have her back!

• we had a lesson with our friends Rosa, she did her best to pay attention as she watched her twin 5 year old's, her twin two year old's, and 2 other babies she was watching at the time, and even with all that distraction she still really wants to come to church.

•We had a miracle this week while we were going to visit a recent convert, we recieved a call from a number we didnt recognize. When we answered it, it was a man named Samuel, asking us if we wanted to use his restaurant as a venue for English Classes. He has a friend in Newark who has been taking English classes there and loves it. She suggested he call us and see if we would be interested in helping him out. So we went on Thursday and taught our first English Class there, it went really well! Samuel is incredibly kind! Even though he doesn't have much, he wakes up at 3 AM every Thursday to make breakfast for the homeless. And for the English class he provided notebooks for everyone to take notes on. I really hope we can share the gospel with him soon!

Our friend Rigio is doing great! Pray for him that he can get Sunday off from work to come to church!

Eso es todo!
Cuídense!

My Toenail Fungus Cured For Years In Seconds A Day - Update

In December 2015, I posted my first video about how the peroxide soaks I was doing to kill off the parasite that I have, was curing my toenail fungus that I had for many years.

With that, I made a video (see that post here) and then life crushed down with my mother living with me while having Leukemia, then her dying with funeral, then Grand-Prince 1 being born, then Princess Five's car crash.

Those were all within a few months. I didn't have time to do soaks during all that time, so I had to come up with a different way to keep my nail fungus from growing worse. I came up with a way to put the peroxide in a spray bottle and use "Thieves" oil drops in it and that worked great as well, but took much less time and peroxide. See a link to that post here.

Then, just under a full year later, I showed my nail fungus grown out and the healed healthy nail in a video in October. See the post about that linked here.

These curing parasite videos used to be my highest watched videos on YouTube. Then,, YouTube changed their analytics and how they rate and suggest videos and my views on this are now almost non-existent. This is sad to me because there are so many fake fungal cure videos on YouTube and mine actually works for people with a cost of nearly nothing.

It just takes time to heal any nail fungus and when people say they cured their nail overnight using bleach, that isn't true. The nail over the fungus is dead and damaged and not attached so I know that it is impossible to cure it overnight.

I had someone make a comment a few weeks back about what I used to clean out the nail underneath. I stubbed my toenail on something, so I took off the polish that I use and decided to do an update video showing that my nail is still healed from the fungus now over four years later.

I don't do anything with it as the fungus is dead. It is just a healthy nail now and I can once again manicure / pedicure them and make them cute. I went without nail polish for that entire year so I could make sure that it was continuing to heal and look better. Now that I know it works, I would probably be able to paint my nail, and still treat it for the fungus, just because I am sure the method that I used works!

Each of the post links has an associated video in the post if you want to see each of the videos. Or, you can check out my YouTube channel and watch them there.

Have a blessed and fungus free day~!

Being Gluten Free - Sunday Sacrament Becomes and Issue

Through my life, I have never liked most wheat products. I hadn't thought about it in the terms of "Wheat" or "Gluten" until I was nearly 50.

I never enjoyed cake, cupcakes, stuffing, brownies, hot cereals, oatmeal items, gravies, meatballs, meatloaf, and some cereals. I did eat bread and rolls and enjoyed graham crackers.

It wasn't until I started to gain weight and had lab test showing thyroid problems, that I was told that gluten was most likely the reason for my abnormal TPO test. That was when I realized I have had this issue my entire life and that was why I didn't like all those foods. I had noticed that when I ate gluten products, I would fall into a "mini coma" and my face would turn bright red. I also noticed if I ate a lot of gluten products all at one time, like pizza, I would react and then I would also have swelling in my hands and feet the next day.

I immediately stopped eating any gluten products after I found out the thyroid test results, and haven't eaten gluten since. I will sometimes accidently get it in a product, and will know immediately that there was gluten in it as I react so much more intensely now, due to not having eaten it for so long.

In my church, they use bread for the sacramental portion of our meeting. In the beginning, I would just put a crumb in my mouth, but found that I was starting to react even to that crumb. I then would just touch the bread to my lips and know that in my heart I was renewing that covenant with my Father in Heaven.

I had been to other congregations where they would ask people who needed gluten free to hold up their hand, but I always felt awkward doing that. In some places, they would have a huge cup with a lid on it, which took up lots of space on the trays and slid around. They also couldn't put more than one or two on each tray as the cups were so large. I felt that I was fine taking it the way I had been.

There was a letter sent out about a year ago to all the congregations of our church through the world, saying that they should accommodate those with gluten or other allergy issues to make them feel welcome and allowing them the opportunity to participate in the sacrament.

I was approached by my local congregation leadership and asked how I would like to see the situation handled. I pondered on it, and came up with a solution that I had at home that would be easy for me to do. I sort jewelry from assorted bags I purchase from second hand stores into little bags I purchase from Walmart in the jewelry section.

I got some Rice Chex cereal out of my stash, and put one piece in each of the smallest baggies they sell in the jewelry section. They are about $2.50 for 100 baggies. I filled the entire 100 bags, and suggested to the leaders that they put a few of these on each tray so that others visiting may take one as needed if they are gluten free.

It went well at first, but then they were only putting them on the one tray where I usually sit, so if I happen to not get that spot, the tray then misses me. Then, about two months ago, they didn't have any for a few weeks. I mentioned it, then the next two weeks, there was just a piece of cereal floating among the bread, not in a bag. I then had to dig through the bread to find the piece of cereal. This is an issue for two reasons. I am then touching other members bread, and there are some people who get sick just from their food touching something that has gluten in it. It is called, "cross contamination" and can be an issue.

I mentioned something to my Bishop, and he then discussed it with those preparing the bread. He then asked me to prepare another batch of cereal in the baggies. I wondered as he told me where the box of Chex was, if they had returned any of the contaminated cereal back in the box as it hadn't been eaten on the trays. The box also had the name of another congregation that meets in our building at another time on the front of the box. So, I asked about that as well. He stated that we all share!

I remember on another occasion, I had a really old tasting piece that had gone rancid, so that can also be an issue if you prepare more than needed at a time, or you purchase a box and leave it open to air. When I acquired the box of cereal this past week from the church, it was open and the top of the bag was open. This could be an issue for mice, ants, cockroaches etc. It was a large box and most likely wouldn't all be used before the expiration date, so that can also become an issue.

The other solution I thought of, was that they could just have a baggie of cereal and put one piece in a sacramental water cup on the bread tray which would keep it from being contaminated, and also, if they prepared those first BEFORE preparing the bread, that would keep the cereal uncontaminated. I seem to remember another congregation using one of the larger cups and putting several pieces of cereal in it, but then if someone takes the entire cup, it spills, or someone is sick and touching the other pieces, it could also be an issue. The baggies seem to be the best option I can think of to solve most of the issues.

It is hard for those who don't have this issue to realize what a BIG thing it can be for those afflicted with this issue.

I used to think that those needing gluten free, could just take their own bread each week as I have seen in other meetings I have attended, but then they have to sit in the same spot each week which isn't always possible with visiting guests, and also visiting guest miss out on the opportunity to participate. So, the baggie has been the best option as it doesn't take up so much space, keeps the cereal fresh and airtight as some of the plastic containers may not, and they can reuse them week after week.

I do think they need to place a few of them on each tray allowing for visitors as I rarely find a place that has an alternative when I am traveling or visiting.

Just a bit of a share for those that may have similar issues. I can take them when traveling and give those preparing the sacrament a handful before the meeting, they could put one on each tray which would allow for me to get one if no one in front of me needs it. ;-)

Have a blessed and allergy free day!

A Little Tired and Discouraged But it Ended With a Smile - 111 moments

As you know, it has been a very long week trying to get the webpage done. I really had no idea that one little issue could cause so many other issues.

I got so frustrated as my now linked blog threw up lots of flags to google as I set it up so may years back. I think I may have to design a new blog, and find a new host as I have had so many problems with blogger lately. I think it is just outdated and it isn't as up to date as some of the other sites.

I don't want to have to put more funds out each month as my blog doesn't really make much, so I hate to go to the work and expense, but it is really getting frustrating having these issues.

The notices are for thing I have no way to change and have never heard of before. I am spending hours researching each different problem. I am not sure which way to go at this point.

With all this going on, I have had some wonderful 111 moments. The day I finished the website, I had been working all night. I published it, linked it to google and finally gave up on linking YouTube for the moment. I shared a picture of the home page of the website with my girls on our family group. I finally climbed into bed in the afternoon after having been up all night and morning working. I lie down, roll over and look at the clock and it was 1:11 in the afternoon. I laughed to my self that God was telling me that it was "OK" and that I am doing good things, and it will work out. I took a picture and sent it to my girls showing them the time I got into bed.

Twice this week Princess Two has posted or sent me something at 11:11. Just tonight I got on Facebook and noticed she posted her latest blog post at 11:11. Of course I had to comment on it.

I was talking to Princess Four about a HUGE decision she needs to make by Friday. She is working so hard, 18 credits, work, and church responsibilities etc. She was VERY stressed on the call, and we talked until she felt better and at the end of the call she said, "It will all work out in the End as God is in charge." and we said goodnight. I noticed the call ended at 1:11 a.m. as she didn't get home from working on her group project for school until after midnight and called me while walking across campus.

I sent her a text saying we hung up at 1:11 and she wrote back saying she noticed that as well and took a screen shot. I had tried to take a screen shot but couldn't figure out how to do it as I have a new phone.

So, I wanted to share with you that in the past week or two, I have had so may 111 moments and haven't posted about any recently so I thought I would share those with you today. I hope that tomorrow will be a better and less stressful day as far as the computer / internet goes.

I know God loves me, and that I am doing what I can to help others by working on this parasite, so I have to be patient with myself in this learning situation. I am grateful for the 111 reminders that HE loves me and that it will be OK!

Have a blessed day!

It Is Official - Horsehair in Humans Website is Now Live

I have pulled so many overnight work sessions with this webpage, four in the last week. I am SO frustrated with YouTube and google as they won't allow you to have more than one webpage linked to your YouTube account without setting up a google console, which I did. However, the console is linked to the google account I was forced to set up years ago to set up the channel as it had to be a google account. So, I created a google account which I have never used as I immediately linked my current email account to it which wasn't a google account at the time.

So, I have a console for my website, my blog, and a YouTube account I can't link to anything as it has a google account that has never been used. So, I have spent 10 to 12 hours just looking into linking the accounts which I couldn't find and then spent an hour chatting with YouTube tonight who sent me links to all the pages which I already had looked into.

Basically, I had to share that with you because I am putting the launch video up but can't link to the website from the video! So, I had to put the links in the description box which I have never done before, but hope that I can figure it out so that people can find my blog and my website from YouTube!

I know the site isn't perfect, but I tried to make it with chat forums and comment sections so that everyone can share their stories and suggestions that may help those just finding the page.

I hope that the site will help bring awareness to the situation for all those that are suffering that have been writing me for years. I also hope it will be a place where Doctors and scientists can go to find out more about how the Horsehair Nematomorpha parasite is adapting in humans.

It is after 5 a.m. again and I have more pages open on my computer than I ever have in my entire life because I am still looking into fixing the YouTube / google issue. Wish me luck and enjoy the new webpage. And, in my tired humor, I will just say, "YOU'RE WELCOME!" as the Mulan song comes to my mind! ha ha

If you find any typing errors or issues, feel free to comment on the website or here. Have a blessed day!

Looking for Rainbows in NY - Princess Five Mission Update

Hey friends!
Sorry I didn't email last week!

We have 2 friends Eva and Ace, who walked into church last week who have a friend from there country who is a member and they just jumped straight in, making plans to come to church every week, and meet with the missionaries and they just understand everything so well.

We have another friend that found out we do missionary work every day and she asked if we could come visit her more than once a week!

We have a friend named Serg. We found him while sitting in the car about two weeks ago he was walking in the dark and I saw the gold of the bible he was carry shining in the light. I told sister Jones we had to talk to him so we jumped out of the car and chased him down. We weren't able to set an appointment with him then and then last week we ran unto him again on the same street. We told him about the book of Mormon, and he wanted a copy. Jump to Saturday, and we were finally able to meet with him. He told us has been going to another church for the last several months and he is preparing to be baptized there. He is just starting to learn about God and read the bible, so after we told him about the book of Mormon, he asked the members of his church what "Mormon" meant. They told him we were people who believe in God but not in Jesus Christ. After hearing that he thought to himself," there's no way these girls don't believe in Jesus Christ." And when he got home he thought more about the book of Mormon, and was thinking of where he could buy one, so he could read it right away! After our lesson he was so excited and asked us where he should start reading. We are excited to see him progress!

All Nighter Once Again - Website is Nearly Done

I have been up all night working on the website again. I edited it again and then went through it all once more thinking I could finish it quickly. Well, it didn't go as planned as I had trouble with the format on one page. I got that finished and then tried to link it to google so people can find it and there was a whole bunch of stuff I had NO idea what they wanted. I may show up on searches or may not. On this blog, I don't have to put anything in and I just show up on searches. I am not sure what key words would have been best, or which title would be best, and I wasn't sure which picture to put as you have to set up what you want your "Share" to look like on social media etc.

So much has changed in the ten years since I started this blog. I really thought I would have it finished and set up. Just a few minutes ago finished the google link set up and got this page. I had already started this post by that point as I am a few hours late to post due to all of this.

I still need to link it to this blog and am not sure that the link to my parasite playlist is going to work. I can't seem to tell if it is linking to my main editing page on YouTube for my channel, or to my public channel, but I guess we will find out. ha ha.

I can't believe the hours I have spent on this thing. I know it will help people, but I am one tired momma! My back is aching from sitting on the chair, my legs and hands are swollen from sitting and typing, my broken tailbone has reached its limit, and both my paddings on my chair are flat! ha ha

I hope I can get a few hours sleep, but am hoping the plumber will show up with a camera today so in a way, I hope I don't get sleep. ;-)

I am planning to go live tomorrow with the website done. It will be a relief to have it off my list. Hopefully, I will be able to maintain all the emails, comments, forums, twitter, Facebook, and problems running all the different pages, blogs, links, and YouTube.

Have a Blessed and restful day!
