I am blessed. I believe these blessings come from sharing what I have with others & by giving gratitude for what I have. I also let God know my needs and wants. Any loving Father wants his children to have their needs and wants met. I believe God is my loving Father in Heaven, and I hope to use this blog to share the information I have with others in that we may both be blessed from it.
Welcome to my page! I had a friend suggest I start a blog as she thinks of me often when she reads other blogs. So, thanks to Sara, I hope we all enjoy this journey.

Princess Five joined a choir. She will be going on a tour with them in the spring to Disney Land. She is SO excited about the prospect. She doesn't remember ever going to Disney. She went with us when Princess One Graduated in 2005. She was five. The only thing she remembers is me carrying her around and sleeping in the "tiki room" with a few glimpse memories. My neighbor across the street just sold her house and is moving closer to family. I saw this coming as last winter, she spent the entire winter with her daughter that lives in a warmer climate. I don't blame her for moving, I consider it all the time as she is widowed for several years and taking care of a larger house just isn't fun and can be expensive if you can't do much of the maintenance by yourself. She went through her house for months labeling things she wanted to keep and those she wanted to sell. I was so impressed with how she just went room by room and as she would find something, she would research how much it was worth and then take it to a pawn shop, and antique store or label it for sale with the price she wanted. After she moved, she brought back the boxes she'd used to move and turned them upside down in the house and put everything she wanted to sell on top of the boxes so that when the sale was over, anything that didn't sell, she could just stick in the box it was sitting on. She even spoke to the charity she wanted to donate the left over items and they were coming at noon on the Saturday of the sale to pick up the boxes. I told her I would help her but was surprised to see people coming and going on Thursday and boxes with arrows on the corner of our street. I guess since they were in town, they figured that they would have the sale start that day. I was interested that her dining table didn't look all that special and was a bit retro but I wouldn't have paid more than $50 for it. I guess it was teak wood and she had a guy drive five hours one way to purchase it and a few other items she listed in the capitol city papers classified online for sale. He paid her $1500 for the table and chairs! I thought she was VERY smart how she priced things. On many items, I thought she was very overpriced but was shocked that every day when I would go visit, more and more went for the asking price. I am guessing she probably made $15,000 on her house items she sold over the past year getting ready to move.
Then, there is me. Thursday night I had horrible stomach pain. The parasites have gotten worse and depending on their life cycle, I have good and bad days but it wasn't all that great. I had been thinking about having a yard sale as I need to make some money for the choir trip for Princess but she was going to be out of town for the entire weekend.
Princess Four came home for the weekend and I asked if she would be willing to help with a yard sale and she said she was and then ended up heading to her room not to be seen again for the night. With that response, I said a prayer that if it would be good for me to have a yard sale, that I would feel better in the morning and wake early enough to make it work.
I woke at 8 a.m. felling good. My neighbors had done most of the hard work and advertising so I thought it would be good for me to have it and I had a room full of stuff I wanted to try and sell as I have been cleaning out my rooms slowly as I can get to them.
Princess Four was a work horse and pulled all the boxes out of that room without complaint. I was so grateful for her help. We did have some rain and since it rained the last time I had a yardsale, I swore I would never have another but I kept it in my mind and we came up with a great way to keep everything dry and we did have to cover the "isles" up a few times on Saturday, we still did well in between the showers and were able to not have anything ruined by rain. Between Thursday and Saturday, I had several blessings come. I received this refund check from the hospital for one of my tests as I guess I overpaid. I was VERY grateful to see that near $50 as that is a lot of money for me. I then got a bill from my phone carrier. Princess Four's phone froze and has gone to phone heaven so we put her back to a flip phone until I can figure something out for a new smart phone. When I changed the phones over, I asked them about giving me the "credit" for the phone as last time I swapped, they forgot to give me the "credit" you get when you don't carry a new phone through them but use one you own. I looked at my bill and realized they didn't give me the credit so I called on Thursday and they gave me a credit and a back credit of $15 and reinstated my "credit" on a monthly basis. Yahoo for $15. I then got a check in the mail for Princess Fours summer housing security deposit. When we moved her out, we all spent hours cleaning the place. She was told, and got an email, saying it was fine as she still had a girl living at the apartment and she would get her full refund back.
I get to looking and they took out $17.50 for a "cleaning service" which I wasn't happy about. So, I contacted the company that manages the housing and kindly explained that we cleaned and that someone was still living in the apartment and we had emails confirming that she would get the entire deposit back. The manager was very kind and said he would get the check to me for the $17.50. We sold lots at the yard sale and I was VERY grateful to get most of the items out of the house. I did have some situations that I will be aware of in case I decide to do it again. There is a couple that run an eBay store and a little store out of their home in a smaller town then we live in where they buy stuff at yard sales and then sell them at an increase. They played against each other and on me. They grabbed all the collectable stuff and lots of items and put them in a pile. I was counting their purchases up and then when I had a number in my head, they would pull something out of the pile and go put it back while one would talk to me causing me to forget where I was in the counting process. I would ask them where I was at in the counting and they would just look and not say anything. I should have written it down.
I guess they did the same thing to my neighbor's daughter with the stuff they had in the shed and then tried it with my neighbor on the stuff in the house but she knew better and wrote it all down. I thought she was smart. Then, after I had it all added up, they came out with, "We don't have enough." it was about $10 less than what I counted and I am sure I messed up many times adding it up. They looked quite smug about the entire thing.
The second thing I did to mess up was leaving price tags on some of the larger items. I purchase several pieces of furniture for myself to refinish but decided it wasn't worth my time as I am so tired. I told Princess how much I wanted for the item and then, not realizing there was a price tag on it somewhere, a buyer would find how much I paid and want to give me that amount even though I wanted more for it. Two or three times, I had to sell the item to them for what I paid even though I could have easily made double or triple on the item because the buyer got so mad I didn't want to deal with them. I don't think it should matter how much I paid for it. isn't that what retail stores do!
The third situation was the one that disturbed me the most. I had a lady bring a huge pile of stuff over and put it on the side of the yard turning me away from the sale. At this point, there were about 15 - 20 people. Now, I realize they all came together for they have a "system" to steal from you. She had some middle priced items and wanted them for $3 when it should be more like $15. I told her I was into the items for way more than she wanted to pay. Someone asked me a question and I turned to answer it and she snapped, "Can we finish here!!!" really rude. I turned back and started talking to her, she threw a few bills and me and walked off with one thing she had in her hand leaving a pile of stuff. I asked her about the other stuff and she said, I don't want it. What happened was she was keeping my attention drawn away from the sale so her band of thieves could pocket some of the more expensive new items I had for sale. When I went back to the sale after the several car loads left, I was quite upset about it that they would be so deceitful and for a few dollars would teach their children how to steal. We wonder how the prisons are full, many times their parents teach them. The last situation was that several times, people would gather an armful of stuff and hide things behind or under what they were showing me asking for a price. I can't believe that people will sell their souls to the devil for a few dollars like that.
I was blessed to sell my five bikes and bike rack to a man which was great as I didn't have to worry about putting them back. I was also able to sell my living room chairs that I replaces last Christmas. Click here for that post. After the sale, I boxed up all the clothes and kitchen items and donated them to the woman shelter. I packed up all the winter wear, water bottles etc for the food bank. I packed up all the books, toys and most everything else for my sister whose children's charter school is holding a yard sale soon. I brought one small box of things I kept and a few of things I can hopefully have her sell online. It felt great to get those things all out of the house. When I went to bed that night, I checked my blog stats and smiled as I saw that my US views were 111. It was the perfect end to a very long weekend of blessings.
My neighbor did something new this summer. She put up a bird feeder in her yard. At the beginning of the summer, I heard what sounded like a bird shop in the back of the house. I walked around to see about 30 birds fighting for a place at the feeder. It was VERY loud.
I thought it would be a passing thing and she may not add more food as she has a dog that barks continually if anyone is outside for any reason. Whenever she fills the feeder, there is mass noise and hysteria from the birds. I guess all that noise didn't go unnoticed by others. A hawk of some type noticed all the noise and commotion and decided to take advantage of the situation and my guess is it didn't have a very hard time catching his dinner. I was doing the dishes and looked up to see this site of carnage about 15 feet from my window. Frankly, I couldn't believe that a bird of prey would decide to eat so close to a human . My kitchen window is usually open so it could hear me moving about and making noise. As you can see, it did give me the "eye" a few times but for the most part, it ignored me and continued eating its fresh kill. I wish I had seen the entire sequence of events to see how it pulled the wings off and pulled off all the feathers as it left quite the mess on the grass. I grabbed the video camera but didn't dare speak too loud as i wanted to get it on video. You can see it clearly eating the poor recently deceased bird.
Flash forward a few days. It is mid morning and I am hearing the birds a chirpin like they are having a feeding frenzy. Then, in an instant, there is silence. Then, I see the hawk fly low through my yard and out of eye shot from my kitchen window........ My guess, it has found a new hunting ground where there is little work to find a meal. Weird thing, I didn't hear another bird at the feeder all morning. Maybe they are figuring out it may not be in their best interest to eat for free.
I had one of the most painful experiences with the parasite so far this week. I shared that when I used a medication that is over the counter called "Pin-X" or "Pyrantel" the parasites hated it and I got no sleep when using the medication. Here is a link to that post. I also posted about soaking my hands in hydrogen peroxide to bring up the nematodes in the lymphatic stage of this parasites life cycle. Click here to see the first post about that. I have been rinsing my hands with hydrogen peroxide every time I use the bathroom just to make sure I have killed anything. I then use any type of yeast cream on my hands at night to help with the overgrowth of yeast since the peroxide kills off all the normal flora as well as any parasite stuff. With that, I guess I have been driving the parasites into my arms instead. Also, I posted in a blog (click here) where at night, the adult parasites poke out through the skin to lay eggs. This is speculation on my part as there has been no human study of these parasites. This is just things I have felt and observed. I have woken to hot stabbing pain for a second in the soft parts of the body like behind the knee and the under side of my arm. It just happens that where I found that little piece of something dried and withered hanging out of my arm, I had an issue with this week. The day that thing was on my arm was 9-4-15. Friday, I was having a yard sale. I hate them and haven't done one in about 8-10 years because it rained and everything got ruined. My neighbor is moving so I thought since she already publicized this, I would have Princess Four help me as she was home from college and Princess Five was out of town. I loaded boxes all day and it was HUMID. It was probably one of the most humid weekends I ever remember where I live now which isn't one of the humid states. With all the carrying and moving, my arm got irritated and then to top it off, I mowed the lawn just before dark with all the humidity and it was feeling like rain. By the time I got inside, I was dripping wet with sweat. I showered and thus, more water. My forearm on the bottom was HOT, painful, and red. It was almost like a cellulitis infection. It was hot, raised and red. I didn't take a picture before starting to put peroxide on it but once all the little "Kraken" horsehair nematomorpha nematodes started showing up, I decided to take pictures. I once again probably should have taken video but I can't edit it and there are only so many times you can watch white dots coming up under the skin. I was working on my computer and when the hydrogen peroxide would air dry on that spot, I would just drizzle some over the spot and then let it air dry more and more. I continued putting the peroxide on for about an hour as I wrote in my journal. By then, most of my forearm underneath was white. I know if I kept pouring peroxide over it, it would have continued bringing them up but it was SO PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to stop. I was near tears. My finger tips started to hurt. Now, soaking the hands for months now has caused at times a few fingertips to hurt and made them tender for a few days and I just figure it was them dying off. Now, I am beginning to think it may be something different. There were SO many parasites in my arm that you are just seeing where I decided to stop due to pain. I had already taken some Tylenol for a headache as I knew rain was coming and my teeth and head were starting to hurt. It did NOTHING to help with this pain. It was tender and irritated before I started with the peroxide but this pain was unlike any I have experience before. My fingers tips felt like someone had a drill bit and was DRILLING into my finger tips with NO anesthesia. I didn't want to send them back into my head as I did before by putting oils or something on them so I took some left over Pyrantel creme that I KNOW they didn't like and I rubbed it on the arm, then I put diatomaceous earth on top of that. I wanted to keep them in my arm and hand so they would hopefully die off with the peroxide and Pyrantel. I was awake in agonizing pain for about four hours before I could finally fall asleep. I put rosemary oil and lavender on my fingertips hoping that the rosemary may kill them and that the lavender may calm the damaged tissue. Even turning my arm felt like the skin was being torn or ripped in my arm. I needed to keep the powder and cream on the arm so I found a cotton sock and made a fingerless glove out of it. Now, I was in pain so I didn't make it very well as I cut it up in all of 30 seconds as I was in so much pain. I do think it would be a great way to cover a kids stitches, rash or burn. If you wanted "cute" looking fingerless gloves, I would just sew the heel part together on the inside with one little seam and you would have a cute pair of finger-less long gloves. I have found when we had "water" rashes that the best thing is Bonds powder or Diatomaceous earth. I have tried creams of all types, essential oils of all types, and alcohol, vinegar and a few other things but we always come back to the powder. We then cut the foot off a 100% cotton sock and cover the rash with the sock which keeps the powder from rubbing off and also reminds us to keep it dry. After a few days, the rash is gone. My theory is that the little parasites go as far as they can to get away and get stuck in the fingertip but I have shared that these parasites like to coil around each other and get into a type of "Snake ball" as snakes sometimes do. I think that when they get near to another worm, they start doing their little coil / knot making dance and by sending them all into the hand, they were all doing their coiling dance in my fingertips and that is why it felt like someone was drilling in my fingertips. If you blow up the pictures, you can see there are white parasite dots in my fingertips and I didn't soak my hand, it just got some from when I would shake it off my arm. I had decided that day that I am giving up on my quest to have people diagnosed with this and finding a cure as everyone I talk to either doesn't have insurance to have it diagnosed, is of a small town mentality that they don't want the "stigma" that comes with the diagnosis or doesn't really want to know they have it or they will have to face it and accept it. Some people are like ostriches with their head in the sand when big threats come they would rather "pretend" that it isn't happening.
I have given what I had to help those people and share the insights I have learned but as you can see, if I have that many in one spot, how many are throughout my body killing me..... I am going to continue trying things but won't be posting about treatments anymore unless people make the choice to get diagnosed, there is no helping everyone. If I post treatments without people choosing to get diagnosed, they will treat themselves without a diagnosis and that helps only them. If I do figure things out, when someone gets an actual diagnosis, I can share with them personally what I have learned but not until it is official.I am saddest for the children but I am tired. I need to get myself and family healthy.
One person with a diagnosis is not enough to get the CDC looking at where this parasite is coming from and why an entire community has symptoms. I actually met a family from Washington state that just moved here that have all the symptoms and believe they have it and have had for a LONG time and Washington is a more humid and wet state so it wouldn't surprise me at all. I feel I have done what I can and posted what I can but now I need to take care of my health. I started trying something new with a nebulizer and am praying for good results. I realized that I can't help people who won't help themselves or their families. The bottom picture is my arm after two days of putting on the powder and cream. I have never had sores like that with putting on the peroxide. This was a first. I am hoping I am done with all of this. I pray God will answer my prayers to find a way to cure myself of this nightmare Kraken.
I have posted recently about freezing peppers and also about making a "hot sauce" for cooking with them but I figured my posting wouldn't be complete without posting how to dehydrate them. If you read my blog, you know that I dehydrate everything so I figured if someone does a search about dehydrating hot peppers, I know how to do that so I should probably add it to the dehydrated posts. The reason I like dehydrated vegetables and fruits is that they take up minimal space. If you bottle it, you have to store the jars, if there is an earthquake, you may lose all your hard work, even if you are prepared. Also, if you don't get to eating the item in a year or two, you wouldn't want to eat it as the food gets darker and darker each year causing any food value to disappear.
I have had food that I dehydrated five to ten years ago and when I open it, if it was stored correctly, it is still as fresh as the ones I did a week ago. I did a taste test with my kids a few years ago and none of them could tell which was the old and which was the new. Here is a link to that post. With that, I like dried spices as you can add them to food storage items that may not have much flavor and spice it up literally. Rice, wheat, beans, lentils, oats and other grains taste quite dull without any flavor unless you have something to add that flavor. If times were hard, we would have the grains stored but how many spices? Vegetable to add? THIS is why I love dehydration. I can purchase freeze dried items. I can buy dehydrated items. For some reason, they all have preservatives in them. I have NEVER added anything to preserve my fruit or vegetables and they stay good as long as they are in an airtight container. In that linked above, you can see that my container of choice is Tupperware that doesn't smell. If it starts to smell, I dispose of it or trade it in for new. I always bag the item before putting it into the Tupperware so that I have two layers of protection against pests and water/air. With dehydration, even if there is an earthquake, the item can still be pulled out of the rubble even if the container is broken. May be a bit dusty but if I was hungry, I am sure I would eat it.
Back to the peppers. FIRST - WEAR GLOVES. Put a layer of olive oil on your hands, wear non-powdered gloves and then a new pair of kitchen gloves. Even after that, don't touch your eyes. Wash them again and if needed use hydrogen peroxide to get any oils from the peppers off your hands as it can still burn your eyes. After you have gloved up, wash the peppers. Then, cut them in half and use a spoon or knife to scrape out the seeds inside the pepper. If you want to have some spicy seeds for pizza or cooking, you can dehydrate the seeds on a non-stick mat used for fruit leather. Be careful NOT to touch any of them as they have oils in them and can burn. After dehydration, you can then used a coffee grinder to make it into a flour texture for adding to recipes however, DO NOT INHALE any of the powder or get it into your eyes. I would then put it into an old spice jar so you can dispense it easily but make sure you mark exactly what it is because you would hate for someone to think it was flour or some innocent spice and be burned. In my world, it isn't worth the risk and time to go to that length. I have the spicy hot sauce I make to use for cooking spicy but the dried peppers are WONDERFUL in omelets. The color and texture it adds are great. It is also very good when making rice in a rice cooker. They rehydrate very well adding some flavor to the rice. Once you have washed, cut and removed the seeds, slice and dice the rest of the pepper removing any bad spots. WARNING - Rinsing them with warm or hot water can cause the spice to get into the air and irritate your lungs and eyes so use cool water when washing them. Also, DO NOT put your face near the dehydrator when it is on and if they are spicy peppers, you would want to dehydrate them outside or in a garage or some place where no one is living because the heat will make some of the pepper get into the air. I don't mind spicy smell in the air but more than just a few can really heat up the house. Also, never dehydrate anything else on the trays or same dehydrator as it will make anything on the trays smell like peppers. If you don't wash the trays after dehydrating them, you can make the new dehydrated item smell and taste like peppers. So, always wash the trays after dehydrating hot peppers. When turning them, use a fork or spatula to move them around on the tray for even drying so you don't get any pepper on your hands. When removing the peppers, use gloves once again when bagging the peppers so you don't get anything on your hands. I shared in another post about how the first time I did peppers, I didn't wear gloves not knowing the heat could hurt me. My hands burned for days. I couldn't touch most parts of my body and especially my face as I cut and cleaned peppers for a few hours. I won't make that mistake again.
When using them in cooking, use a spoon to place them into the dish you are cooking unless the peppers aren't all that hot. With jalapeno, chili, habenero, and any other really hot pepper you would need to take care. These Anaheim peppers aren't the hottest but since I don't know what peppers you are doing, I would take all precautions to not burn yourself or kids, if you have it on your hands, you could pass it on to your kids when wiping their face etc.
Before I get into my post, I want to share something. Someone asked me "If God keeps giving you answers on how to get it diagnosed, how come he doesn't just tell you how to cure it?" I don't always share such personal stuff but I think it is a valid question and will share the answer with you as I shared it with her. I did ask God why he hasn't shared with me how to cure this. His answer was, "If I gave you the answer, you would have cured yourself and the few people you know have it. You wouldn't have embarrassed yourself to share it with others and all those in the U.S. and world that may have, or will have this at some point, would NEVER know what you learned about how to cure it. How many people would go through not knowing it was even a parasite and continue getting sicker and sicker. How many would maybe think it is a parasite and take the medications you have with no luck, bad side effects and out lots of money. I'll share the cure in time when there is enough information about this out there that everyone can get treated." Of course it was just a thought in my head as I don't claim to speak with God but when I pray, I often get thoughts and images as answers. I KNOW what he gave me for an answer is true. I would have done exactly that!
I DON'T want to focus on parasites, I would treat myself and share with my neighbors but I would NOT put it online for everyone to see and be known as the parasite lady! I love my neighbors enough that I am willing to "fight the fight" to get this out there even at my own loss. I have friends who think I should be quarantined and that I probably started the outbreak. I hope I haven't lost them forever as friends because I know they are living in fear. They don't have an understanding of the parasite and I will do what I feel God wants me to do even at loss of friends. When more is known about this, I hope that their lives are such that they can "deal" with whatever the finding is. If it is their cat, or the city water, or the soil, or the local crops.... I know it will be hard for some no matter what the findings as there are hazards in life no matter where you live. I hope that answers any questions about why there isn't a "cure" yet.
I can't tell you how crazy the last few days have been with weird stories. I had a board meeting at the food bank and was finished and out running errands much earlier than I normally would be. I ran into a woman whose daughter is a friend of my daughter. She told me how much I helped one of her daughter by telling her about Hydrochloric Acid or HCL when her daughter had been having some digestion problems. (Click here for a post where I mention that.) I started telling her about the parasites as that could have been some of the stomach issues her daughter had and she has almost all of the symptoms. She mentioned she even had the "sticky hand" thing on her hand once after wiping. That was a new one for me. I have only had that happen that one time to me. She said that some of her kids had some of the symptoms as well. I told her about my blog and the videos I had done and how she should get herself diagnosed so they can have more people on the "list" of people for the CDC or State Health Dept. I finished talking with her and start to walk through the store and a woman stops me and asks, "I overheard you and wondered if you have heard of the cat parasite and the lady who has the non-human parasite?" I looked at her with my mouth open and asked her where she had heard about that as I was the lady with the parasite. She told me she had gone to her Chiropractor that morning and showed him a rash on the back of her leg. He asked her about some symptoms and told her that he thought she may have it. I talked with her for another 30 minutes and she has all but a few symptoms of the parasite. Her rash was starting at the ankle in the back and up 1/4 the way up the back of her leg. I gave her several cards to give to the Chiropractor so he could hand them out to people that he thinks may have the problem. The back story of that is yesterday, I was returning some grapes to Walmart that were horrible. I didn't need anything but thought I would go to the automotive section and see if they had a windshield repair kit. I looked and they didn't have it so I was headed out and had the thought to check and see if they had any little baggies in the craft section so I turned around. I was going to go down one isle and turned down another isle instead. I saw someone kneeling in front of the cell phone covers. I got past him and realized it was my Chiropractor I hadn't been to in years. His hair had gone white and he had a white beard and I didn't recognize him since he was blonde with no beard when I went to him. I was in my yard work clothes so I was kind of glad he didn't see me but I had this feeling to go back and tell him what has been going on and the symptoms I have so that if he has any patients that have any of the symptoms, he can guide them in my direction so we can get more people diagnosed. I didn't end up buying anything at WalMart but felt like it was meant that I talked to him.
With that back story, you can imagine my surprise having that stranger come up to me and within a few hours of the Dr's office being opened, he had already had a patient that had symptoms and shared with her. I truly felt that God had his hand in this and as my day continued, I was SURE God had his hand in it. I am walking out of that store when I get a text from a woman about some jewelry my daughter is selling to help pay for her choir trip. I am driving home to meet her when I have the thought that I should talk to the lady about the parasite. Now, I truly am sick of talking about it. I just want to feel better and move on with my life.
When the woman shows up, she is a beautiful younger woman about my older daughters age. I think "I can't talk to her about parasites and stool." I chit chat as she is looking through the bag of jewelry and I felt strongly again that I needed to tell her. So, I just casually say something about how weird it is that I was recently diagnosed with this weird parasite and these are some of the symptoms.
She immediately says she is always out of breath. She then hears me tell about the worms in my stool and gets very interested in what they look like. I tell her like "celery" strings. She asks about the color. She finally just comes out and asks me if they look like "Spaghetti squash?" I freak out. That is EXACTLY what they look like. The BEST description yet! I ask how she knows that and she said that since she has been taking her prenatal vitamins, she has been seeing them in her stool. That made me ponder on why. I think that our area is lacking in Zinc, Iodine, Iron and other microminerals in our soil. If her vitamins have some of those items in them, perhaps they are killing off the parasites as I know Zinc and copper have antibacterial and anti-parasitic properties. She then showed me a spot on her hand where she had a little rash. We put some peroxide on it but I didn't soak it so they showed some white spots but not enough to raise up like the girl I met yesterday. I think I recall that her son has a rash on his foot but I spoke with so many people that I may be getting some of the kids confused. She said she would dig out some of the parasites and try to send them to the lab for diagnosis. She also said she had the "Sticky hand" thing even today and it got stuck in her toilet bowl when she got it off her hand and put it into the bowl.
Now, I thought that was VERY interesting as two women today told me they also had the sticky thing when wiping so perhaps that is just another weird thing that the worm gets out and starts drying out and gets sticky or something. So weird. Yesterday and today, I have felt like I needed to take Zinc. I didn't do it yesterday but I did actually take some this morning before my meeting and then again today after she left and I wonder if that is what may be killing off some of hers. She did say that the ones in her stool are about four inches or less as well. She also asked if I thought it could hurt her baby. I told her about the dream I had about some Dr.'s looking at my food as worms were coming out and how an autistic boy drank the water and (there is more but I'll condense it) when I woke, I started thinking that perhaps the boy was trying to tell me that his problem was in the water.... amniotic fluid. Of course it was just a dream and most of my dreams don't come true but as you know I am a dream believer and have "different" types of dreams and the ones that I dream in color and remember, usually have some meaning in my life. Here is a link to a post about why I believe in dreams... For weeks now, I just keep meeting people with symptoms. I NEVER meet and talk to this many strangers in such short times. I am a very open and friendly person but these people are coming to me! I DO think God is in charge and HE wants this parasite discovered and continues to help when I come to a block or dead end of some kind. I spent my entire day explaining things to strangers today and yesterday so I decided to make a video of my "story" so that I could not have to spend 30-60 minutes describing the "history" of it all to everyone. I felt like I should make some "cards" with my blog and number on them last night so I did that and today, I gave out three cards directly and sent two with cards for their Dr.'s and a stack for the woman to give to the Chiropractor to hand out. No one can tell me that this isn't a problem. There is NO way that I am just meeting a few people that have symptoms. I think at this point, MOST people in our area and other places have this. I truly do think it is going to be discovered that it is all over the U.S. and is part of the mental health problem as well as at some point, most likely some cause of autism. Not saying all cases, but I do think it is possible because these things are in the lymph, eye fluid, I am guessing blood and saliva so why not amniotic fluid?! I shared with those I met that Walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and diatomaceous earth as well as soaking hands in peroxide help keep them down in numbers until we can get enough people looking at it to find a cure. Please share this post or the videos with anyone you think may have symptoms. We truly do need to start getting people diagnosed so the CDC will look at the problem.
I had another thought that perhaps "morgellons" is actually the same parasite just under a different name as I have been reading a few pages about it and many of the symptoms are the same.
When I married, my new "family" was Portuguese. They used hot red peppers in their cooking. I was raised in a typical "American" family with roasts every Sunday, lots of canned and processed foods during the rest of the week.
My cooking was forever changed by the use of crushed red peppers. My in-laws had a wonderful garden as they weren't originally from the U.S. they raised food and processed many of the foods they did raise including animals. This was all new to me as I was a city girl. I had the typical "American" garden with tomatoes, cucumbers and the like. When I married, my new spouse told me to grow "red peppers." I had never cooked or grown spicy peppers so I took him at his word and planted hot peppers.
He was NOT a gardener and hadn't helped his father in the garden or doing much outside having being raised in the U.S. He told me that I needed to cut up the hot red peppers and I had NO idea what I was doing but was trying to learn his family traditions so I dutifully cut up the hot red peppers. NOT a good idea. My hands burned for days. His family got a kick out of this but I can say I tried. His mother would make a paste or sauce out of the hot red peppers that his father grew as they had the typical male/female rolls of him taking care of the yard and house and she did the cooking and serving. She would actually fill their plate and put it in front of the men in the room. I was raised with everyone serving themselves so I always thought it funny when she would do this. I wondered how she new how much he wanted of things but she did it for her son as well and would clean up their plates after they finished even if she wasn't. I have always liked being outside and doing yard work and fixing things. I think I was more like his father in many ways. I learned to cook many of the Portuguese meals and really enjoy spicy food having always enjoyed Mexican food. Since that time, I have cooked with crushed red peppers. His mother would always give us a bottle when needed one from her yearly yield.
When we moved away from his family, I would buy jars at the stores when visiting them and use them until our next visit as they lived in a large Portuguese community. Since that time, I found that many Asian stores carry the "Rooster" sauce that is very similar to the Portuguese piri-piri sauce or paste. I would purchase it by the gallon when in a larger city and refill the little jar in the fridge from a larger jar I kept in our storage fridge since our towns grocery stores didn't carry it.
This year, I decided to learn to make my own garlic hot sauce. Since my neighbors gave me a ton of hot Anaheim peppers they were throwing out, I figured it was about time to learn to make it. If I had to purchase the peppers and make it, it wouldn't be worth the work as I can buy a jar of the pepper sauce for cheap and skip the work. I am guessing that you can use any type of hot pepper such as jalapeno, chili, habenero to make this. You would just use less for cooking the hotter the pepper used.
Basically, I read up on MANY different cultures hot sauces and most are the basic recipe with a few spices thrown in for different countries. It seems as if each country has their own version of this. Thailand, China, India, Korea, Africa, Arabian, Portuguese and Mexican.
I remembered my past mistake cutting up peppers without gloves so before I write how I did it, let me tell you to oil your hands with olive oil. Use powderless gloves and then purchase a new pair of large cleaning gloves as even with this, you will have pepper on your hands.
Wash the peppers. Then, since I like the seeds in it, I just cut off the top of the peppers and pulled out the main center seeds. I also cut off any part of the pepper that wasn't pristine.
I then threw them into the VitaMix, or blender. I tried a food processor but the chunks were large and I wanted a paste so I went with the blender. Some use a meat grinder to make it but I found the vita-mix with its strong motor worked great. I did have to add the peppers a few at a time to create a liquid which helped mix it more easily. I threw in some bagged peeled garlic since I like the "Rooster" sauce with it's garlic added. Some recipes are very time consuming as many of the Portuguese ones have you salt the peppers and let them sit for days, or cook it and then let it sit in the fridge for days with salt on top. I didn't think I wanted to do that and didn't want that much salt so I went with a more middle-east type where you boil it down, add vinegar, salt and freeze it.
Basically, I had a sink full of peppers, I added the entire bottle of vinegar. It is a bit more vinegar than I needed but since it is red wine vinegar, it added flavor. I added about 4 tablespoons of salt and about 12 cloves of garlic. I also added a few tablespoons of olive oil. All of that was blended. You can put a small amount on a plate, add a little olive oil and dab it up with some bread to see how it tastes. If it needs more salt or garlic, you can add it before canning or freezing it. I boiled it down for about 20 minutes. I then spooned it into some sterile jars and just turned them upside down to seal the lid. I figured with the vinegar and salt, the peppers were fairly pickled. The jars I put into the outside fridge as I would use them in the near future and would share them with my girls. The rest, I spooned into sandwich bags. By folding the top down on the bags, I was able to keep the zipper seal clean until sealing them. I got out all the air and then sealed them and double bagged them. Make sure you label them and then you can put about four of the sandwich bags into a gallon bag and freeze them all.
When the jar in the fridge is empty, I can just refill it with one of the frozen bags. I have already used it many times. Princess Five likes it on tortillas with melted cheese and sometimes black beans. It gives a nice spice to them.
I used it on my roasts, with potatoes, in my rice cooker and in my stir-fry. Those recipes are on my blog. Happy Cooking!
