Princess Five In Paterson - Sign On The Ground Ha Ha

Hello all my wonderful family and friends! This week we started teaching these two teenagers English, they are really fun, and when we were there, their mom fed us this Dominican dish called "mangi" I think, but it just tasted like popcorn flavored mashed potatoes, so that was really good.

They are really fun to teach and they pick up everything really fast, and we are planning on inviting them to youth activities, so hopefully they come!!

We've also been trying to street contact a lot more youth, which has been ok. At about 3 in the afternoon the streets are flooded with kids getting out from school. They are all just SO confused! They either don't believe / know there is a God, or are doing whatever they are doing because their parents are doing it, and don't actually know if they believe it.

At one of our teaching appointments, we met the cutest 96 year old man, I don't think he understood anything we were teaching, but he was happy to be there.

We got two free chairs from our neighbor, they're really nice, but there's not really a good place to put them, so we might not keep them.

Last, I want to share about the cutest family ever, they are from Guatemala. They have two young daughters who are 8 and 9, and twins just over a year, a boy and a girl. We started teaching them English two weeks ago, and we invited them to church, and offered to help the kids get ready, and they said of course! This family is amazing everyone!

They had so many reasons for why they couldn't come but they came anyway. They've been having trouble with their car, but they decided to take it anyway, their daughter was a little sick, but they came anyway, they were bringing a friend and didn't tell us, so they were a little late, but CAME ANYWAY! They had to leave after sacrament because their daughter really wasn't feeling good, but we are hoping and praying that they will continue to come, and learn about the gospel!

Besides that, not much happened this week. We teach a lot of English classes, and the more I teach them, the more I don't understand my own language, so that's fun.

Love you all! Thank you so much for your love and support!
