I was going to head out of town the day before and visit my mothers grave along with my grandparents with my family on Memorial Day, but I had a horrible migraine and vomited and felt horrible for the entire day. I ended up getting up super early and made the long drive to the first appointment. I walked out of that appointment at 1:11 p.m. I laughed and took a screen shot as I took it as a sign that things are going to be "OK" when I saw that.
I then drove to the next appointment, then the third specialists. This appointment was at the Main Hospital and the parking garage was crazy. I drove around and around looking for a parking spot. Finally, someone pulled out and I pulled in.
When getting out, a tissue dropped out of the car onto the ground. I noticed it when I closed the door. I am not one to litter, so I bent down to pick it up and saw a really dark penny on the ground just under the car that I couldn't see from my angle while standing. I had to take a photo as it was so weird that in the entire four or five level parking garage, I get the one spot that has a penny on it and somehow drop a tissue out of the door trash.I then went to put a rainbow pinwheel on my mothers grave since I wasn't able to go visit it on Memorial day, and I get talking to my sister on the phone as she texted me while I was headed to her grave. I sat in my car visiting and when I hung up, I was about to start my car, and I hear voices behind my car and I look back and see my oldest brother, his wife and their youngest son walking to her grave with a container of flowers!
I guess they weren't able to visit her grave that day either. If I hadn't have talked to my sister in the car, I would have missed them. We had a good visit for over and hour and I got a great hug from my nephew.
I can't help think that my mother was orchestrating all those events to let me know that things will be alright. I was grateful for those reminders to Trust in God, and for the 111 and especially getting to see my brother and his family who are leaving to serve a mission in South America assisting the leaders over 5 countries. I won't see them for 18 months. I was grateful for that visit and getting to say goodbye.I went to the store to pick up some groceries today since I was out of town, and there were a few pennies around the store. I found one at the checkout, and I am grateful for those constant reminders to Trust in Him!
I am blessed!
